After more than 20 years and 4.000 units, the last Norba N3 rolled off Geesinknorba’s production line. Just before the year 2020 ends, the workers made the last unit, a Norba N3 with 22m³ body and L200 LWS winch for Ragn Sells, a customer from of course Sweden, the place where it all started.
The history of the Norba N3 – or RL300 as we previously called it – goes back to the year 1998. The new RL 300 was the successor of the Ki12/RL35 rear loaders, which were in production in Blomstermåla for several years. The newly designed N3 rear loaders were better and very popular in the Nordic countries, France and the United Kingdom. The N3, known as a dependable workhorse, could easily withstand the harsh Nordic conditions.
And now, the production of the N3 has come to an end. The new N4 has been in production since spring 2020 and feedback from the customers has been very positive. The N4 combines the best qualities of the N3 with the latest technologies to enhance performance.
We made a film of the last N3 as a tribute to this great product. Watch it here and enjoy!
