Geesinknorba has developed a new chute solution for its Geesink GPM IV KT series. Waste management company Vögtlin-Meyer in Windisch, Switzerland, is the first to receive this innovative system.
The crane with chute offers the ideal solution for handling underground containers. It will speed up the collection process significantly. This unit also features a comb lifter to handle all standard two- and four-wheeled containers on the route. This special system allows users to retract the chute automatically using the control panel, when 2- or 4-wheeled bins need to be emptied. The system is designed in such a way that the chute also functions as the bin catcher to prevent the containers from falling into the hopper. For safety reasons, the license plate is always visible despite the position of the chute. This also means the unit maintains a short rear overhang to increase maneuverability which is ideal for use in inner cities.
The system also brings benefits such as no spillage due to the chute’s clever design and processing the waste in the large 9 m³ hopper effortlessly. Due to the large opening of 1804 x 1742 mm and high loading capacity, this unit can process large amounts of waste. Consequently, users spend less time on transporting the waste to the landfill sites or incinerators. The boom support on the body roof protects the body and pick up system from any damage on the way.
The unit already entered service and we wish the people from Vögtlin-Meyer lots of success with this new unit!
