Our full-electric Geesink RCV was on Cambridge Clean Air Day to demonstrate the potential of the full electric RCVs. Cambridgeshire District Council and Cambridge City Council organized the event on the depot of South Cambridgeshire.
At this special event people were invited to meet and experience our full-electric RCV. Many people were interested in driving and operating this full-electric rcv, while they were being informed of the technical details of the vehicle.
After that, there was a presentation about this subject. What is the status of full-electric vehicles these days? Perfection doesn’t come overnight. Specially when it comes to these innovative products. There are already six full-electric units in operation in Europe. We keep improving the units based on customer feedback. The demand is increasing rapidly and the next units will leave our factory as we speak.
The presentation was followed by a lively debate where people could ask questions and discuss their wishes for full electric RCVs and related vehicles and equipment. For many attendees the low total cost of ownership was a real eye opener and very well received. Every visitor received a presentation and will be contacted for further discussions about the transformation to an emission free fleet.
