Geesinknorba and Volvo have released a new fully electric refuse collection vehicle. The new demo vehicle is built on Volvo’s new FM series chassis and features the Norba N4 body with an L200 lift.
One of the special features of the new vehicle is a foldable ladder located under the body door, which will allow operators to easily access the vehicle for inspection and maintenance. The tailgate also has a support mounted on the left side for safe maintenance.
In addition to these features, the new vehicle is equipped with a 360° safety camera system, which will provide operators with a comprehensive view of their surroundings at all times. An internet/GPRS modem is also available for remote service support, making it easier for operators to get the help they need when they need it.
