Geesinknorba has supplied this new Geesink crane body to waste management company IRADO in Schiedam. The unit has been developed in close partnership with HIAB and Volvo.
The GPM IV crane body offers the ideal solution for handling underground containers in urban areas. When lowering the rave rail, also bags and bulky waste can be loaded on the same route. Due to the large opening of the funnel, the unit can process large quantities of waste in one go. The net pay load is even more than eight tonnes.
Operators are pleased to spend less time on transporting waste to the landfill site or incinerator but to continue their job and get home early. Another handy perk is the low height of the body allowing drivers to cross bridges and other places where height restrictions apply. The crane is safely stored on the roof of the body to prevent damage on the way.
HIAB has supplied the newest HIAB S-HiPro 230W crane with a reach of 10.7m and a lifting capacity of 1.920 kg. The crane features the user-friendly CTC (Crane Tip Control) system allowing the operator to concentrate on the lifting process instead of being distracted by using levers in the right order.
The chassis has been delivered by Volvo in the Netherlands. The Volvo FE (6×2) has a powerful 330 pk engine. The unit already entered service in Schiedam and we wish the driver from IRADO lots of success with his brand new truck, congratulations!
