Geesinknorba has delivered these two 100% fully electric Norba trucks to waste management company Årim in Ålesund, Norway. The company is owned by seven municipalities and covers seven of the outer islands in the west coast in Møre and Romsdal.
Årim has proudly present these innovative units in different showrooms to the public. Besides that, the units have been ornamented by the young students from the primary schools in Åse and Larsgården.
Årim will first test the new Norbas on Volvo FE chassis on different routes and areas before they are put into daily operation. Based on the results and findings Årim will make plans for future investments in electric refuse collection vehicles reducing its own carbon emissions and the emissions among its customers.
