Geesinknorba has delivered a large order of RCVs to waste management company Trondheim Renholdsverk (TRV) in Trondheim. TRV provides waste collection, disposal and recycling services for all private households in the Trondheim municipality. The order comprises of three Norba N4 rear loaders, one Norba multi fraction and two Geesink GPMIV KT 1 crane units.
The GPM IV, fitted with a crane mounted between the cab and body, will be used to collect paper, card board and recycling materials from the underground waste containers on the designated collection points. The MF rear loader for collecting different types of waste separately was also on order along with three Norba N4 rear loaders with L200 lifter.
The chassis upon which these units have been mounted are 4×2 and 6×2 Volvo FE chassis. TRV has chosen for gas powered chassis as it helps them to meet their green credentials in reducing unwanted emissions which is an important factor when collecting waste inside urban areas and cities.
