After making its debut on the IFAT 2022, this beauty has entered service at Scania AB in Sweden. In the coming months, this all-electric unit will be shown to waste management companies and municipalities across Sweden.
This Norba rear loader is not only very efficient, but also helps in improving air quality and reducing harmful emissions. The unit has our unique LI-ON Power hybrid system with a 30 kWh battery pack to supply extra power to the Scania chassis. The five lithium-ion batteries are safely stored between the body and cab and can be recharged overnight after the work has been done. This innovative vehicle is perfect for Low Emission Zones (LEZ) and Clean Air Zones (CAZ) that already exist in several Swedish cities.
Safety is of pivotal importance. That is why the unit has a safety ladder with ergonomic handgrip which makes cleaning inside the body an easy job. Furthermore, the unit is fitted with a central greasing system to ensure a smooth operation. This vehicle is available for demonstrations!
